This was the first challenge
The hardest part of making a periscope was measuring where the mirrors were going to go.
The easiest part was cutting the cardboard.
We made the periscope so we could spy on periscope so we could see what it was like for the soldiers.
The soldiers used them in the trenches to see the others soldiers, so they could shoot and stop being shot by them.
